Q. If the doctor order is "CBC, CMP in am" and the nurse draw the labs before midnight. Is that considered practicing medicine?
A. It could be construed as practicing medicine since the order is for a.m.

Q. I live in Oklahoma and received a reprimand in 2005 from the Board of Nursing how long will this remain on my record
A. In Louisiana, it remains on your record forever. Contact the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing at 405-962-1800 for their policy on reprimands.

Q. L&D. Is it common for a defendant's attorney to not respond to letters of settlement from plantiff's attorney? The defendant(doctor) is his own expert witness in this particular case.
A. The attorney does not necessarily have to respond. It is, however, typically a matter of courtesy and professionalism to respond one way or the other so that the plaintiff's attorney can proceed with the trial process.
